Andrius Bartminas
I’ve dedicated my life to building systems that matter - ones that hold up not only in terms of technology, but in terms of trust, meaning, and the public good.
My career began in the early wave of Lithuania’s digital transformation. From 2006 to 2014, I played an active role in modernizing the country’s public infrastructure - participating in national efforts to implement digital signatures, e-services, secure data systems, and electronic document archives. Working closely with the public sector, I helped design and lead several foundational projects that continue to shape how our institutions operate today: from digital tax declaration platforms to e-services and e-democracy frameworks and the long-term archiving of electronic documents.
In 2014, I took on a new challenge: helping Lithuania shape a defense and security innovation sector that, at the time, barely existed. As a senior project lead at Enterprise Lithuania, I focused on international business development across strategic industries - defense, cleantech, cybersecurity, and ICT. I led initiatives that supported the sector’s export readiness, created strategic alliances with foreign governments and institutions, and helped architect a national foundation for an industry now recognized as vital to regional and EU security.
As technology advanced, so did my mission. In 2018, I co-founded SUPER HOW? - a deep-tech research and development company born out of a shared belief that blockchain, AI, and decentralized systems would redefine the infrastructure of the modern world. What started as a bootstrapped venture soon evolved into SH Group, a multi-entity deep-tech ecosystem creating mission-critical innovation for sovereign and enterprise systems in finance, defense, digital identity, and culture.
As a co-founder, I’ve not only led the company as CEO and Executive Vice President - I’ve shaped its direction, culture, and strategy from the ground up. Our goal was never just to build products. It was to build capabilities. We became a venture-building powerhouse with a strong governance model, reusable technology stack, and a clear purpose: to operate at the intersection of technology, ethics, and impact.
SH Group today includes ventures spanning RegTech, DefenseTech, FaithTech, tokenized economies, and DLT infrastructure. We’ve cultivated a strong team of elite engineers and researchers, supported by external partners, and coordinated through our venture studio model (Super3). This structure allows us to rapidly prototype, test, and scale novel technologies into new spin-off ventures.
Our work has gained international recognition, including:
-
Being twice awarded Fintech Innovator of the Year (2022 and 2024)
-
Selection and participation in the BIS Rosalind TechSprint
-
Delivering pioneering work for institutions such as the Bank of England, Bank of Lithuania, ECB, Ripple, NEM, and the Bank for International Settlements
One of the most meaningful chapters of this journey has been our collaboration with central banks and regulators on the research and design of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). Through extensive technical consultation, simulations, and architectural input, I’ve helped these institutions understand how distributed ledger technologies can support more resilient, transparent, and inclusive monetary systems.
SH Group has already successfully incubated and funded multiple ventures, including:
-
Axiology – a tokenized securities infrastructure company (€2M pre-seed)
-
Micapass – a zero-knowledge compliance and identity tool (€350K early round)
From the beginning, my role has been to connect the dots - between policy and protocol, research and execution, vision and implementation. I remain deeply involved not just as a technologist, but as a strategic architect shaping what sovereign-grade digital systems could and should become.
Beyond product development, I remain deeply involved in technological research and thought leadership. I’ve authored and co-authored peer-reviewed scientific publications on topics such as blockchain-based connectivity in international business ecosystems, decentralized governance, and infrastructure testing methodologies for public/private blockchain networks.
Throughout all this work, I’ve remained committed to a broader principle: Technology must serve the human spirit. That belief has led me to my latest calling - co-founding HOLYDEEDS and Opera Sacra.
These are not side projects; they are the culmination of everything I’ve learned. Through HOLYDEEDS, we enable transparent, real-time charitable giving via blockchain. Through Opera Sacra, we build digital architecture to preserve, illuminate, and share sacred culture. My role as Vice President focuses on ensuring that the tools we design are not only technically sound, but spiritually aligned.
Across government, fintech, defense, and culture - I’ve learned that the systems that last are the ones built with integrity. That’s the standard I hold myself to, and the standard I bring to every mission I’m part of.
THOUGHTS THAT GUIDE ME
Sic Parvis Magna — Greatness from small beginnings.
These words have followed me through every season of my life. They remind me that scale is never the starting point. Vision, discipline, and courage are.
I believe in building systems that are not only functional, but principled. In a world driven by speed and spectacle, I’m drawn to resilience, precision, and purpose. Whether working with code, policy, or people, I aim to leave behind something measurable, meaningful, and just.
I don’t separate innovation from responsibility. For me, technology is never neutral - it reflects what we believe is worth protecting, empowering, and passing forward. That belief guides everything I build.
MY LIFE
Outside of my work, I’m a husband and father - roles that keep me grounded, grateful, and constantly growing. My wife is not only my closest companion but also my strongest supporter, whose belief in me sustains many of the risks and ambitions I’ve taken on. Together, we’re raising two wonderful boys who challenge my thinking in the best ways, often over a shared video game or weekend adventure. They remind me why building a better future truly matters.
We share our home with a loyal dog, whose calm presence is a quiet reminder of life’s simple joys. These relationships are the source of my resilience and the foundation of my integrity - because ultimately, the systems I build and the work I pursue are in service of something much greater than myself.
